Temporary Road Closure: Road Through Over Stowey, Over Stowey 7-11 April

Reference: WD12&13/0326 – SD001362&63 -Road Through Over Stowey    

Please be aware that we have received notification of a temporary road closure at Road Through Over Stowey, Over Stowey for approximately 331 metres, which will commence on 7th April 2026 and is expected to last until 11th April 2026 (between 07:00 to 19.00hrs). These works are for Kiely Bros to carry out phased work including surface dressing, application of Kiely Lock and associated works such as stud removal/renewal and lining works on behalf of Somerset Highways. Solid diamond symbolization will be used on the diversion route. Their works reference is LG018SD001362-63-SD-02.

The road will be reopened when no works are taking place. Signage will be placed on site. There may be a need for additional closures at a later date and if so, a notification will be sent for these.
