District Council Election takes place on 2 May
Registration for this election closed on 12 April and it is now too late to apply for a postal or proxy vote. If you are registered and need an emergency proxy vote you need to apply by 5pm on 2 May. Contact Electoral Services on 0300 303 7800 or by e-mail to electoral.services@sedgemoor.gov.uk.
European Parliamentary Elections take place on 23 May (if the UK is still an EU member)
If you are not already registered, the closing date for registration is Tuesday 7 May. You can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or contact Electoral Services as above. Deadlines for postal and proxy votes have not yet been announced.
