New Information Panel unveiled
/in News /by netherstoweyOn 15 July John Roberts, Chairman of Nether Stowey Parish Council unveiled a new visitor information panel in Nether Stowey gaol in the centre of the historic village. The panel gives information on points of interest, local figures and promotes the Coleridge Way, a 50-mile trail through Somerset and Devon to Lynmouth linking sites associated with Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
Cllr Roberts thanked local designer and writer Terence Sackett who designed the panel and Steve Taylor who painted the gaol and installed the panel and Cllr Colin Penny who had the original idea and led the project.

Wed – OPEN 10am-1pm and 2-5pm
Thurs – closed
Fri – OPEN 10am-1pm and 2-5pm
Sat – OPEN 10am-12 noon

The Parish Meeting may, by law, discuss all Parish affairs and pass resolutions about them. The following matters have so far been placed on the agenda:

Please contact the Parish Council to add a matter to the agenda.
Each year an Annual Parish Meeting is held at which residents can air issues and ask the Parish Council to investigate certain matters which are of concern. The meeting is NOT a formal Parish Council meeting but it is facilitated and funded by the Parish Council for the benefit of the community.
