Temporary Road Closure: Cannington Road, Nether Stowey  (from just past the Stogursey Lane junction to the Castle of Comfort)

Please be aware that we have received notification of a temporary road closure at Cannington Road, Nether Stowey for approximately 151 metres, which will commence on 30th March 2026 and is expected to last until 3rd April 2026 (between 19:00 to 05:00hrs). These works are for Kiely Bros to carry out phased work including surface dressing, application of Kiely Lock and associated works such as stud removal/renewal and lining works on behalf of Somerset Highways. Solid diamond symbolization will be used on the diversion route. Their works reference is LG018SD001417-STUDS-01.

The road will be reopened when no works are taking place. Signage will be placed on site. There may be a need for additional closures at a later date and if so, a notification will be sent for these.
