Resignation of Cllr Kevin Ferriday
We regret to announce that Kevin has tendered his resignation after eleven years as a Parish Councillor, for most of which he was Vice-Chairman or Chairman.
Kevin joined the Council in 2015. We thank him for his invaluable work. Kevin served as Vice-Chairman from May 2017 until May 2024 when he became Chairman for a year, before reverting to Vice-Chairman again. Kevin chaired the Neighbourhood Plan Group, playing a major part in writing the Plan and steering it to successful adoption. He has also been the Parish Council’s representative on the Local Councils Network and to the Thomas Poole Library and Stowey Green Spaces, and our IT supremo. We will greatly miss his energy and wise counsel.
Kevin’s resignation means that the Parish Council has another vacancy. If you are someone who cares about the village, please see below and for more information go to Vacancies and Co-option page or contact any member of the Council or the Parish Office
