It is only a few short weeks since the new play area was completed, after a huge effort by the Playing Field Committee to raise funds and manage the project. They also did the work themselves to prepare the ground for the equipment to be installed.
So it is very sad that already some of the equipment has been broken, and deliberately. As well as that, there has been a spate of vandalism elsewhere on the Playing Field, and now there has been a break-in from which expensive maintenance equipment and supplies have been stolen.
Please! Don’t let all the hard work to make a super facility for the village go to waste.
