Works being carried out on The Cross Monday 10 August to Friday 14 August.

The Parish Council have arranged for the tatty oak bollards to be replaced from outside the Parish Office on Castle Street along the Cross to Clock House on St Mary Street. The new bollards will be smart cast-iron ones and will be taller, which we hope means that they will be more easily seen.

Work starts first thing on Monday 10 August and will take 4-5 days.

Please do not park on the loading bay at The Cross from 7am on Monday until the work has been completed and the area has been cleared up. Any damage to cars parked there during the works are at the owners risk. The loading bay and part of the pedestrian area will be blocked off at times for your safety. It should usually be passable for pedestrians – but please take care.
